Powell scores 20, Leonard has 12 points in return as Clippers cruise to 131-105 victory over Hawks

Kawhi Leonard scored 12 points in his season-opening game, and Norman Powell scored 20 points as the Los Angeles Clippers easily defeated the Atlanta Hawks 131-105 on Saturday night.

Leonard played 19 minutes despite missing the Clippers’ first 34 games due to what the franchise termed as the recuperation from a right knee ailment. He finished with three 3-pointers, three rebounds, and one assist while shooting 4 of 11 from the field.
