Man dies after being hit by car, out-of-service Metro bus on 110 Freeway in South LA

Early on Sunday morning, a man lost his life in a two-vehicle collision on the 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles.

The California Highway Patrol reports that it occurred in the freeway’s northbound lanes close to Manchester Avenue at approximately five in the morning.

A black automobile and a gray cargo van were involved in the first collision, which took place in express lanes.

An out-of-service Metro bus struck the victim’s corpse as it was in the road following the collision that ejected them from their vehicle, according to Metro officials.

A company spokeswoman released a statement saying, “Metro extends its deepest sympathies to the victim’s family and friends.”

For almost three hours, CHP officers in the region issued a SigAlert.
