Columbus, Ohio — In the wake of Saturday morning’s shooting fatality in northeast Columbus, a lady from the city is now in custody.
Shirldenna Featherstone, 19, is facing charges of reckless homicide following the discovery of Tahvon Ford’s lifeless body with a gunshot wound.
In court records, Featherstone claimed that she and Ford were looking at a rifle when Featherstone shot Ford accidently.
In court documents, Featherstone was named as Ford’s girlfriend. She contacted emergency services and tried cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) until the arrival of police officers.

An anonymous friend of Ford’s, Shawno, told NBC4 that Ford was his “best friend, brother, left hand, twin flame and dice twin” and that he would miss Ford terribly.
“Tahvon had a real genuine soul and lit every room he stepped in,” he remarked.
Coming up on Monday is Featherstone’s arraignment.
