At the West 125th Street and Saint Nicholas Subway Station, an assault occurred, and the New York City Police Department is asking the public for help identifying the perpetrator.

As early as 9:05 a.m. on Wednesday, the incident took place inside the boundaries of the 26th Precinct/Transit District 3.

An unidentified offender punched a 72-year-old man in the face while he was standing on the station’s mezzanine, prompting him to fall.

The raider then made a break for it. Thankfully, the knock-on effects were minimal, and the victim chose not to seek medical attention.
