1 detained after man stabbed to death in Santa Ana

After a fatal stabbing in Santa Ana on Sunday, one man was taken into custody.

According to Santa Ana Police Department officials, officers were called to the intersection of Sunflower Avenue and Bristol Street shortly after 3 p.m. after receiving information of a deadly weapon incident that had taken place nearby.

When they got there, they discovered a man who had been stabbed and was not responding. According to authorities, he passed away after being brought to a local hospital. He hasn’t been named yet.
